Our work in Can tho with collaboration with the Climate Change Coordination Office (CCCO),  Vietnam National University, HCMC and its WACC center (Center for Water and Climate Change Management), gave us some insights into how the adaptation process works (and should work?) in rapidly developing cities like Can Tho. We coined the name Secondary Cities of the Global South (SCGS) to collectively refer to such cities. Some of our thoughts were compiled in a two part paper series. The manuscript part I of this set has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Climatic Change.
