The aim of the two days workshop is to investigate the possibilities for implementing flood resilience, green infrastructure and water sensitive design solutions in Can Tho, from across the world, across different scale levels: SMLXL. Which stakeholders are involved? Do the solutions offer enough flexibility for future adaption? What multi-benefits do they offer? How do the proposals create synergies across scales?

After identifying potential measures and strategies, the outcomes will be evaluated and compared to other successful projects by our international group of practitioners. Lessons learned as well as follow up actions to bring the designs to actual proposals, business cases will be defined. Finally, we will discuss how the outcomes can be used to develop a consistent climate proofing policy that pro-actively determines the roadmap for medium sized cities.
